LITTLE LOCKERS. BIG IMPACT.
This group of Reagan High School students spends their free time making sure kids in our communities have access to books.
Kyra and about 30 of her friends make up the Little Locker Ambassadors. They receive books from the Texas Yes Project and stock locker libraries in areas where children have little or no access to books. The group estimates they’ve delivered thousands of books since the beginning of the school year, helping students across the city find a love of literature.
Our Reagan students are showing how a small act can have a big impact.
